A town centre GP surgery could get a new extension, according to plans submitted to a council.

The Frimley NHS Integrated Care Board wants permission to build a new health centre at Skimped Hill on High Street in Bracknell, Berkshire.

It would sit next to the existing Skimped Hill Health Centre, which would then be used mainly for administrative purposes.

Parking at the site would remain unchanged.

The new centre would have three storeys, housing consultation and treatment and interview rooms.

It would also have a phlebotomy room - a place where blood is taken.

The plans were submitted to Bracknell Forest Council in April.
