Watch: Dinosaurs invade BBC South Today studio

Prehistoric creatures invaded a BBC studio during a live segment about the first formal naming of a dinosaur.

Anjana Gadgil was in front of the camera for BBC South Today on Tuesday evening when the CGI dinosaurs appeared.

Posting on X, external, she said: "Last night I got attacked by dinosaurs on air.

"Huge shout out to our GFX team at BBC South and at all the BBC regions around the country who pull this stuff off every single night."

Oxford University's first reader in geology, William Buckland, described the species Megalosaurus to the Geological Society on 20 February 1824.
