Nicola Sturgeon admits she deleted Covid WhatsApp messages

Nicola Sturgeon has admitted deleting her Covid WhatsApp messages.

Inquiry lawyer Jamie Dawson asked Ms Sturgeon if she deleted WhatsApps between her and her ministers and advisors. He referred to messages given to the inquiry between Ms Sturgeon, Humza Yousaf and Ms Sturgeon's former chief advisor Liz Lloyd.

Earlier, the former first minister outlined that she did not use informal communications like WhatsApp to reach decisions or to have substantial discussions.
