Mums shouldn't feel bad about going to the gym, says Sophie Evans

Mums should not feel guilty about hitting the gym because it's important to be a healthy mother, says West End star Sophie Evans.

The Wizard of Oz and Wicked actress takes part in mother-and-baby classes with 13-month-old Jack in Llanishen, Cardiff.

That means she does not have to worry about childcare.

Ms Evans said: "Mum guilt is definitely a thing and when it comes to fitness maybe you think, 'should I go to a gym class or should I take them to a soft play class?'

"But, I think, [being a] healthy mother is so important to keep you baby happy."
