Two decommissioned fire engines have been donated by Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service to Chile.
Two Leyland DAF engines will head to Pitruquen, a rural community south of Temuco in the centre of the South American nation.
The fire service last gifted engines to Chile in 2006.
Gloucestershire county councillor Jeremy Hilton said: "These engines are no longer needed here but will have a big impact in Chile."
