Plans for A46 widening in Nottinghamshire go on show

People are being invited to view plans to widen the A46 in Nottinghamshire.
The work will transform the A46 from Newark and Widmerpool into a dual-carriageway and bypasses for Farndon and East Stoke.
Eight junctions will also be improved as part of the work, which is due to be completed by 2012.
Drop-in sessions are being held in Newark, Keyworth and Bingham to give residents chance to look at the proposals.
The drop-in sessions are being held at on 14 June at Newark Library from 1000 until 1300 BST and at Keyworth Library from 1400 until 1700 BST.
Another event is being held at Bingham Library on 17 June from 1000 until 1300 BST.
