Brighton students' artwork goes on display

Hundreds of pieces of art made by Brighton University students have been put on display.

More than 15,000 visitors are expected to visit the exhibition at the city's Grand Parade campus.

The students hope to follow in the footsteps of university alumni such as Turner Prize winner Rachel Whiteread and sculptor Alison Lapper.

A university spokesman said the show marked the "beginning of an exciting future" for the graduating students.
