Two people have been badly burned in a gas explosion at Donington Park's Download festival.

The injured are staff who were working on a food stall when the explosion happened on Thursday night in an area away from the main site.

Organisers have said they believe it was an accident and their thoughts are with the injured people.

Leicestershire police said one man had already been released from hospital but the other was in a "poorly" condition.

Between 80,000 and 120,000 people are expected at Donington Park over the three days of the festival.
