Guernsey freezes overseas aid cash
- Published
Guernsey's government has decided the amount it gives in overseas aid will not increase on last year.
The Policy Council said it was unable to recommend a budget increase in the light of the existing economic and fiscal climate.
More than £2.5m was given to 80 projects last year including £140,000 to four international disasters.
This was less than a third of the money given by Jersey, which has increased its contribution this year.
