Budding filmmakers in London 2012 Olympics race

Aspiring filmmakers have until October to make their submissions.
A competition for aspiring filmmakers to have their films screened at the London 2012 Olympics has launched.
Short film competition Film Nation: Shorts will accept entries from 13 to 25-year-olds.
Entrants are asked to create a film which celebrates Olympic values including respect, courage, excellence, friendship, equality and inspiration.
The winning films will be shown on giant London 2012 screens around the country, as well as at Games venues.
The films will also be shown on the London 2012 website and on a dedicated Film Nation website.
Cultural Olympiad director Ruth Mackenzie said the competition brought young people "right into the heart of the 2012 Games".
Budding filmmakers have until October to make their submissions.
Shortlisted entrants will then be invited to attend an annual national award ceremony to highlight the best new filmmaking talent.
Monthly awards events, beginning in December, will lead up to an annual award winners ceremony.
