Reading Festival troublemakers 'will be prosecuted'
- Published
Organisers of this year's Reading Festival have warned they will seek to prosecute troublemakers.
Festival promoter Melvin Benn said crime "would not be tolerated" and revellers will also be banned from taking alcohol into campsites.
"We will be vigorous in our desire to catch people causing such trouble and seek prosecutions," he added.
Thames Valley Police is drafting in extra officers for the three-day event which starts on 27 August.
