A pilot boat in a Cornish harbour has been severely damaged in a fire.

Crews from Falmouth were called to the town's harbour on Monday after the engine room of the Arrow caught alight shortly before 2100 BST.

Falmouth coastguards said the vessel was 100m (328ft) from fuel containers when the fire broke out.

The boat, which had four crew on board, was towed by lifeboat to Queen's Wharf. The fire is not being treated as suspicious and no-one was injured.
