Man on mobility scooter robbed in Cheriton

Two people have attacked a man on a mobility scooter and stolen cash and mobile phones from him.

Kent Police said the 35-year-old man was riding his scooter along Stanley Road in Cheriton when he was approached from behind.

The pair punched him in the face, kicked over his scooter, stole £150 and two phones on Wednesday morning.

One of the men was wearing builders' gloves during the attack, which happened between 0930 BST and 1030 BST.
