Syrian refugees chosen by Pope: 'We are famous now'

Pope Francis' decision to bring 12 refugees from Syria on his own plane back from the Greek island of Lesbos made headlines around the world.

Plucked by the Vatican from among hundreds of families in the Kara Tepe camp, the small group of refugees are now staying at the Sant'Egidio Catholic charity in Rome and have now applied for asylum in Italy.

Two of the group have told the BBC their story, and how they first heard Pope Francis was giving them a lift to Rome.
