Police close road after sinkhole appears in the street

Part of a road was closed after a 6ft (1.8m) deep sinkhole appeared in the street.
Norfolk Police said they were called to Garden Street in Cromer at about 09:15 GMT.
The road, which leads down to Cromer Pier, was shut in both directions, between Corner Street and the A149 Church Street, the force added.
Anglian Water said its engineers were working with the county council to investigate the sinkhole, which is thought to have occurred naturally.
"It has caused some damage to our sewer, which we will need to fix once initial investigations have been carried out," an Anglian Water spokesperson said.
"We're hoping this repair can be done next week, so that highways [workers] can get the road back to normal as soon as possible."
Anglian Water said the sinkhole was thought to be about 1m (3ft) wide.
