Vandalism forces closure of public toilets

Public toilets in a north Devon town have been shut due to vandalism, the council said.
In a social media post, external on Monday, North Devon Council (NDC) said the toilets were closed due to the incident at Wilder Road, Ilfracombe.
It said it was "extremely disappointed" and warned of a reduced capacity while repairs were carried out.
Pictures of the vandalism show damage to the hand washing facility.
It also shows toilet paper strewn across the floor of the facilities.
The council has asked anybody with information to get in touch.
