Two men have appeared in court after a suspected arson attack left a family homeless.

A 47-year-old man and a man, aged 23, both named Opie Price, are accused of arson with intent to endanger life, following the blaze at an address in Bloxwich, on 26 July.

The pair appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Wednesday for a first hearing.

Both men have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at the city's crown court, on 28 August.

The fire broke out on Green Rock Lane just after 15:15 BST, on 26 July.

Extensive damage was caused to the property and further damage was caused to two neighbouring buildings.
