Three to hospital after three vehicle M6 crash

Three people were taken to hospital after a crash involving two lorries and a car on the M6 in Cheshire.

The collision was on the northbound side between junctions 16 and 17 at about 22:35 GMT on Tuesday.

Three fire engines from Alsager, Crewe and Sandbach were sent to the scene.

Two people from one vehicle and one from another were taken to hospital with injuries that were thought to be minor, said Cheshire Police.
