Deacon Blue have been confirmed as the final headline act for Trentham Live 2024.

The four-day music festival in Staffordshire will run from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 August.

The group, famous for hits including Dignity and Wages Day, will play on the opening night.

Busted, Jess Glynne and Manic Street Preachers had already been announced as the weekend's other headliners.

'Unforgettable'

“We can’t wait to get on stage at Trentham and play All The Old 45s in such a stunning location,” said Deacon Blue vocalist and songwriter Ricky Ross.

Organisers of Trentham Live 2024 said it promised an "unforgettable weekend for music lovers of all ages."

Jess Glynne is set to play on Friday 16 August, Manic Street Preachers on Saturday 17 August and Busted on Sunday 18 August.

Head of events Kerrie Pope said they had worked hard on the line-up, and to make sure the event was "affordable for all."
