Police have released pictures of a man they want to speak to after a serious assault on a female cyclist was reported.

The cyclist was travelling in the direction of Lingfield on Marsh Green Road in Edenbridge on 22 July 2023 when it happened, Kent Police said.

It is alleged she was pushed from her bike by a passenger in a black Vauxhall Astra that had pulled alongside her.

She fell into a ditch and was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries.

A man arrested in September after the incident remains on bail pending further investigation, the force said.

Insp Christopher Ward, from Kent Police, said: "Following recent developments, [we] are now able to issue images of a man who may be able to assist [us].

"I would urge anyone who recognises the person pictured to contact our appeal line.

"We would also be keen to hear from any other cyclists who may have been involved in, or witnessed, any similar incidents."
