Wolves fans encouraged to join Pride parade

Last year's Pride in Wolverhampton attracted thousands of people

Wolves fans can be part of an official supporter group at two Pride events in the West Midlands this summer, the club has said.
Staff, players, and supporters are being invited to represent the club at Birmingham and Wolverhampton Pride gatherings in May and June.
Last year, a group of staff from Wolves and its official charity, Wolves Foundation, took part in parades at both celebrations.
Thousands of people attend the events each year, which celebrate the LGBT+ community with processions and live music.
Wolverhampton Pride will start in the city centre at 10:45 BST on 7 June with speeches and welcomes ahead of a parade at midday.
The Birmingham event begins at Centenary Square on 24 May at 11:30 BST.
Participation in both parades is free.
