A man has died after a crash between a red Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry.

Emergency services were called to the A602 Watton-at-Stone bypass, just past Mill Lane, in Hertfordshire at about 18:20 BST on Friday.

The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment but died from his injuries.

Sgt Luke Jenkins, of Hertfordshire Police, said: "As part of our investigation, I'd like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the collision or saw the events leading up to it."

"Our thoughts are with the man's loved ones at this difficult time," Sgt Jenkins said.

"If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may have captured something that could assist with our investigation."
