The existing bus depot was described as "disjointed" in planning documents

Plans to knock down a bus depot in Mansfield and build a replacement facility are set to be given the go-ahead next week.
Mansfield District Council's planning committee is recommended by planning officers to approve proposals on Monday from Stagecoach Services Ltd to redevelop the existing site off Sutton Road.
A report prepared for the committee states the applicant wanted to build a new depot to provide the infrastructure to support the transition of the bus fleet to electric vehicles.
Council documents said the proposals represented a "significant investment" in public transport and would support local employment.
According to council documents, the proposed redevelopment would consist of a workshop building, a bus wash facility and electric vehicle charging bays to support the new fleet of 24 electric buses.
Documents added: "The proposal would replace a series of dated and visually disjointed buildings with a modern, coherent, and well-designed facility."
