Police are trying to identify the victim of an attack in Birmingham involving several men.

They said the assault on Pretoria Road, Bordesley Green, was captured on CCTV shortly before 15:00 GMT on Thursday and led to several 999 calls by members of the public.

West Midlands Police said, as part of the investigation, a stolen car and weapons were recovered, while a man, aged 26, and a 16-year-old boy from Stechford were arrested on Friday.

Officers said they were keen to speak to the man whose picture they released to check on his condition.

The force said its teams have been reviewing hours of CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses but were keen to speak to others who saw the attack.
