A Lancashire school uniform company, which dates back more than 160 years, has been sold to an Australian firm.
Trutex, which is based in Clitheroe, has been bought by investment company Hancock and Gore in a deal valued at £12.5m.
The company, which is already an established brand in the Middle East, Canada, Europe and China will continue to be led by chief executive Matthew Easter and remain based in Clitheroe.
Jobs at the site will not be affected by the sale, the BBC has been told.
The company was sold by Elaghmore, the UK-based private equity fund which initially acquired a 42% stake in Trutex in February 2024.
Andy Ducker of Elaghmore, said Trutex was a "fantastic brand with a rich heritage", and the sale "opens exciting opportunities for further international expansion".
