Two 13-year-old boys have been arrested after e-bikes were stolen from a storage unit in Nottingham.
Nottinghamshire Police said three e-bikes were taken after "multiple people in balaclavas" broke into a site at Thoroton Place in Radford on 10 July.
One of the suspects is believed to have threatened a warehouse worker with a knife when a stolen bike was returned four days later, the force added.
Both boys were arrested on suspicion of theft of a pedal cycle, with one of the boys also arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.
Police said one of the boys was further arrested on suspicion of theft after a tip jar was taken from a cafe in Park Street on 30 June.
Det Sgt Frank Guddemi, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Each of these incidents were completely unacceptable, so we're pleased to have made some arrests.
"Taking the attempted robbery first, this was an incredibly serious offence, especially when you consider the use of a knife as was reported."
