National Highways said one lane was closed following a crash on the M1, but it has since reopened

A lane of the M1 close to London Luton Airport had to be temporarily closed following a crash.

It happened at the southbound junction 10 for the A1081 airport spur road on Wednesday morning.

Drivers in the area faced delays, with cameras showing traffic being bottlenecked for a time.

National Highways said the motorway had since been fully reopened.
