Boy, 17, charged with assault in teen murder probe

A teenage boy has been charged with assault as part of an investigation into the death of a 19-year-old in Braford earlier this year.
Muhammad Junaid Khan was fatally stabbed on Newton Street, in the West Bowling area of the city, on 6 June.
On Friday, West Yorkshire Police said a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He is due to appear before Bradford Youth Court on 3 November.
Three men have been charged with murder in connection with Mr Khan's death.
Mohammed Mehmood, 18, of Woodroyd Royd in the city, was charged with murder, attempted murder, assault causing bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place.
He is due to stand trial in May next year.
Hamza Rehman, 26, and Luqman Rehman, 28, both of Birch Lane in Bradford, have been charged with murder as well as violent disorder.
They are next due to appear in court on 7 November.
