Stalker jailed for 'scaring life out of victim'
- Published
A stalker who "scared the life" out of a woman in his "relentless" pursuit of her has been jailed.
Tyson Junior Miller, 37, of Hill Rise, Chippenham, turned up at the house of his victim and sent her a friend request on Snapchat "hours" after being released on bail with conditions not to contact her, Wiltshire Police said.
Miller, who told officers he had abandonment issues because of his childhood, "tried to play the victim," police said.
He was sentenced to a year in prison, after pleading guilty to stalking involving serious alarm as well as breaching his bail conditions.
"I believe if he had not been further arrested he would have continued to contact her," investigating officer Roz Hadden said.
"This kind of behaviour is not ok."
Miller was jailed for 12 months at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 19 December.
