Crawley Town will make history on Sunday when they step out onto the Wembley pitch for the League 2 play-off final.

The club will be making its debut at the home of English football after 128 years, playing for a chance at promotion to League 1.

The Red Devils will face Crewe Alexandra in front of thousands of expectant fans for the crunch game which kicks off at 13:00 BST.

We look at how Crawley have got here, how to get to the stadium and how you can watch the game without making the trip to Wembley Stadium.

Crawley secured their play-off place on the final day of the season in League 2, winning 2-0 at home to Grimsby Town, while Barrow dropped points at home to already promoted Mansfield Town, allowing them to finish in seventh place.

They made history in the play-off semi-finals with a record breaking win over MK Dons.

A 3-0 win at the Broadfield Stadium in the first leg put them in a commanding position.

Just over 1,600 fans made the trip for the second leg and they were rewarded with a 5-1 win on the night and 8-1 overall on aggregate.

Crawley were widely tipped for relegation at the start of the season so the fact they have a chance of promotion is hugely unexpected and they have thrived from having the 'underdog' tag this season.

One of the main reasons they have got this far is due to summer signing Danilo Orsi.

He has scored 24 goals, including a hat-trick in the 5-1 win over MK Dons, and counting in all competitions. That compares with just four goals he netted in the 2022/23 season for Grimsby.
