The death of a man, whose body was found in a pond sparking a murder enquiry, was not suspicious, police have said.

Richard Bentley, 55, was reported missing on 16 November and his body was discovered in Chaseside in Littledown, Bournemouth, on 24 March.

Dorset Police said officers had undertaken "extensive enquiries", including investigating Mr Bentley's last movements, and were satisfied there were no suspicious circumstances involved in his death.

A 24-year-old from Bournemouth who was arrested on suspicion of murder and later bailed will face no further action.
