Tributes to 'true friend' after motorbike crash

Tributes have been paid to a 40-year-old man who died in a motorcycle crash.

Craig "Laney" Willis, from Risca, Caerphilly county, died in a collision with a second motorbike at Ringland Way, Newport, on Saturday 28 June.

His family said he would be "unbelievably missed by a lot of people, but he will never be forgotten".

"He was a true friend and gentleman to everyone that knew him," they said, in a tribute."

Gwent Police said officers continued to provide his family with support.

The second motorcyclist was taken to hospital following the crash but his injuries were not believed to have been life threatening or life changing, according to the force.
