A music event in Wolverhampton part-funded by the government will be headlined by an Oasis tribute act.
Oasis Forever will bring Britpop to Market Square as part of WonderWolves on 13 September.
The day is partly supported by a share of £11,200 given to City of Wolverhampton Council by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Chris Burden, cabinet member for city development, jobs and skills, said it was "really exciting to be able to put events such as these on in the city centre".
The tribute band will perform many of Oasis' biggest hits such as Wonderwall, Live Forever and Champagne Supernova, the council said.
The announcement comes on the heels of Noel and Liam Gallagher's Oasis Live '25 reunion tour, which began in July and marked the end of an almost 16-year split.
The Wolverhampton gig will start at 16:00 BST and feature supporting acts.
Burden said he would encourage "everyone to get your tickets fast as this is set to be a popular event".
