New recycling lorries named after public vote

Binny McBin Face, Ollie Watbins and Chitty Chitty Bin Bin will be taking to the streets following a competition to name a Devon council's new recycling lorries.
Teignbridge District Council said it received about 300 entries from residents to a competition to name the 21 new lorries, which ran on its social media account.
It said the winners visited the recycling depot in Newton Abbot on Saturday where they were presented with certificates.
Councillor Peter Williams, executive member for recycling, household waste & environmental health, said the names give the new fleet a "distinct identity".
"We had a great response to the competition to name our new fleet of vehicles," he said.
"There were so many fun and creative names, from children and adults across Teignbridge, it was hard for the panel to decide."
The council said the new fleet has been delivered as part of its supply contract with Specialist Fleet Services and are manufactured by Romaquip.
