A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and two people are in hospital after a car rolled onto its roof.

Gloucestershire Constabulary said closures were in place between Littledean Road at the junction with Oak Way and Elton Corner near Westbury-on-Severn. The road reopened later in the day.

A woman was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol and a man was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in Gloucester.

Police want anyone who drove down Elton Road at about 15:10 GMT on Sunday and who saw the incident or aftermath to get in touch.

Gloucestershire Constabulary is yet to clarify whether any other vehicles were involved.
