You have been busy over the Christmas and the New Year snapping pictures of beautiful scenes in the North East and Cumbria.
Over the festive period, the region was treated to the Northern Lights, stunning sunsets and unique New Year's Eve celebrations.
Here are a few of our favourites.

The bright colours of the aurora were spotted in Keswick, Cumbria on New Year's Eve

The Monument to Grace Darling, in the churchyard of St Aidan's Church, Bamburgh, was also illuminated

Boxing Day saw the the traditional Boxing Day dippers in Blyth, Northumberland

Festive knitted creations were spotted in Hinderwell, North Yorkshire
