A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle road crash in County Tyrone.

Emergency services were called to the Barony Road, between Omagh and Cookstown, shortly before 22:50 GMT on Sunday.

A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of several driving offences and was then taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.

The Barony Road has since reopened, but the police remained in the area on Monday as enquiries continued.
