A persistent thief has been jailed for three and a half years for breaching a criminal behaviour order (CBO).
Sean Beard, 33, was sentenced at York Crown Court for what North Yorkshire Police described as "a crime spree" in the Foxwood area on York on 23 August.
CCTV footage of one of the offences shows Beard breaking into a garage in the early hours of the morning and riding away on a stolen bike.
The force said Beard, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching the order - which barred him from parts of York and from touching any unattended vehicle - as well as charges of burglary, theft from a motor vehicle and vehicle interference.

PC Ricci Haslam said: "Officers previously engaged with Beard to get the CBO issued in order to help him stay away from certain areas to protect local residents and businesses from crime.
"However he has been persistent in his offending and I'm glad to see that he has now been handed a custodial sentence.
"As this case shows we work closely with members of the public, businesses and partners in our communities to pursue those who commit such crimes."
