Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Redditch.

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with stab wounds following the attack on Plymouth Road at about 17:45 BST on Friday.

His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, West Mercia Police said.

A force spokesperson said the suspects, aged 22 and 35, were being held in custody while inquiries continued.

Det Insp Edward Jones said there would be an increased police presence in the area and confirmed officers were not looking for anyone else in connection with the attack.
