Three men have been arrested after armed police were sent to reports of a fight with baseball bats, which caused a school to be put in lockdown.
Officers said they were called to Chell Heath Road in Chell Heath, Stoke-on-Trent, just before 14:30 BST on Monday.
Two men, 30 and 36, from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of affray on Monday. Another man, 39 and also from the city, was arrested on Tuesday for the same reason.
The school was contacted about the fight at the time and went into lockdown as a precaution, a police spokesperson added.
No weapons were recovered and everyone involved was believed to have fled the scene on Monday, they said.
The first two men arrested were questioned in custody and have been released on conditional bail while enquiries continued.
The third man remained in custody on Tuesday afternoon.
