A man has been charged with murder after another man died in a Wolverhampton street.

Alex Turner is accused of killing Nicholas Cope, 48, who was found in cardiac arrest on Newhampton Road East in Whitmore Reans, last Friday, West Midlands Police said.

Mr Turner, 31, is due before magistrates in Walsall on Thursday.

Police have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage from about 18:00 GMT on the "busy road" to contact the force.
