Bus timetable and route changes introduced

Purple 17 will see increased frequency on weekdays and new electric buses

Major changes to bus routes and timetables in Reading have come into effect.
Reading Buses said it would be "making improvements" to some of their routes and timetables from Monday.
Changes include different routes, additional stops, increased frequency of services and an extra late-night bus.
The operator said changes to bus services reflected customer requests.
Routes affected, external include the Berry 23/24, Pink 25/25a, Aqua 28/28a and Bronze 11.
Little Berries 27 is being renumbered to 29a with an amended timetable during the daytime and a different route in the evening.
The firm said the Purple 17 route would see increased frequency on weekdays and electric buses would be introduced "imminently".
An extra late-night bus is being introduced on Orange 13 on Friday and Saturday nights and buses will now run hourly until 01.30.
There will also be new connections on Ruby 10 to create direct links to Kennet Island, Basingstoke Road, Reading University and Royal Berkshire Hospital.
