Third arrest after taxi smashes into house

A third man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after a vehicle hit a taxi that then smashed into a house.

Woodgreen Avenue in Banbury was closed by police on Monday after the house and taxi were damaged at about 03:30 BST. It has since reopened.

A 59-year-old, from the town, was arrested on Monday afternoon after 19-year-old and 28-year-old men, also from Banbury, were detained that morning. All remain in custody.

Thames Valley Police said no injuries were reported.
