A landlady has said she was shocked to end up downing shots with pop star Ed Sheeran when he popped into her pub.
Claire Wakefield runs the Old Bell in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, and said the Grammy Award winner was out with friends for a stag do.
He was happy to pose for pictures and she said she was "chuffed to bits" when he gave her a cuddle.
"We did our famous lemon drop shots for them," Ms Wakefield said.
Ms Wakefield said she was getting ready to go to the gym after a busy afternoon when her husband came running upstairs.
"He told me I needed to come downstairs now," she said. "Ed Sheeran is having a pint in your pub."
Ms Wakefield said she had not brushed her hair, had no makeup on, and was in her gym gear, while her daughter was upstairs trying on prom dresses.
She said: "I didn’t really know what to do, I can’t fangirl him, I’m 43-years-old."
Mr Sheeran told the couple that one of his friends was getting married and they were on his stag do.
"About eight of them arrived, we had a good chat to them and made them our famous lemon drop shots and did a shot with them," Ms Wakefield added.
