A collection of 10 swords and daggers has been handed over to police after officers were called to reports of a disturbance at a house.

Police went to the property in Cambridge on Sunday.

"While there, the occupants made the decision to surrender this selection of swords," Cambridgeshire Police said in a post on Facebook, external.

The weapons were placed in an amnesty bin at Parkside Police Station in the city and would be destroyed, the force added.

No arrests were made in relation to the weapons.
