Man arrested after shop robbed at knifepoint

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery after money and tobacco was stolen at knifepoint from a shop in Grimsby,

Humberside Police said the man went into the store in Broadway at about 06:35 GMT on Monday and threatened staff with a knife before making off with drawers from the till.

Officers found a discarded knife and the contents of the till in a nearby street.

Nobody was injured in the incident. The arrested man remains in custody.
