A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash which also left a teenager hurt.

Police were called to Farnham Road, near Snape, just before 07:00 BST on Tuesday following a collision between a motorcycle and a Toyota Hiace van.

Part of the A1094 was shut in both directions. The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

"He remains in a critical condition," said a spokesperson for Suffolk Police.

A teenager who was a passenger in the van sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics. Police have appealed for witnesses.
