Police appeal after serious assault near barbers
A police cordon and tent is in place on Spring Bank in Hull following reports of a serious assault

An investigation is under way following reports of a serious assault in Hull.
Humberside Police said officers were called to the incident in Spring Bank at about midnight.
A spokesperson for the force said officers were working to establish the full circumstances of the incident and identify those involved.
A scene guard is in place, and anyone with information, or CCTV footage, is asked to contact police via the 101 non-emergency number.
