Rail lines set to reopen after flood water drops

Food water has receded on most parts of the network.

Train lines in the west of England shut after Storm Claudia caused localised flooding are expected to reopen by mid-afternoon.
Great Western Railway (GWR) cancelled services between Gloucester and Bristol Parkway and London Paddington and Bristol Parkway on Saturday morning due to flooding on the track in multiple locations.
Services between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester have now resumed, with a stretch of flooded track between Bristol and Swindon expected to reopen by 14:00 GMT.
GWR is running an amended timetable remains in place for services between South Wales and London Paddington via Bristol Temple Meads.
At Bristol Temple Meads passengers can change for trains to Reading and London Paddington.
The A429 south of Malmesbury was impassable due to flooding near the Hullavington turn off on Saturday morning, but has also now reopened.
Flood warning from the Environment Agency remain in place along the River Avon near Chippenham and the River Severn near Tewkesbury.
