A1 reopens after police incident

Traffic has been stopped at junction six of the A1M, National Highways said

The A1 has reopened in Hertfordshire after a police incident.

The A1M Southbound was closed between junction seven (Stevenage) and junction six (Welwyn), National Highways said, external.

The Northbound carriageway was also closed within junction six while emergency services were in attendance.

National Highways is not reporting any knock-on delays.
